History:
Frazzle came into the Senior Staffy Club from the pound after having been found as a stray, so we do not have any history on him.

Current:
Frazzle was in our Worcester kennels for a short while before Christmas. Whilst in kennels, he seemed quite a relaxed and happy boy. He loved his walks, sometimes walking in the company of his kennel mates. His favourite part of the day was to have cuddle time in the sofa room with his volunteer walkers after his walk.

Frazzle went into foster a couple of weeks ago, so we can get him neutered. He settled into home life immediately. After investigating the house and garden, he didn’t waste any time climbing on the sofa for sleepy snuggles.

His foster mum has given us a lovely, detailed assessment of this gorgeous boy and this is what we have found out about him so far:

"Frazzle is an absolutely gorgeous, loving boy who wants to be with you all the time. He is very gentle and takes treats nicely. He prefers cuddles on the sofa, to his bed, in the day.
Frazzle loves going out in the garden and investigating everything.

At the moment, Frazzle is interested in other dogs and can pull towards them. He is not aggressive with them and carries on with his walk afterwards.

He saw his first cat today and seemed less interested in it than he is with dogs.

At night, he sleeps with us on the bed, but also goes in his bed. I think he will prefer his bed at night once settled.

Frazzle knows quite a lot of commands. He will sit, wait, give a paw. He also plays the game “which hand”. He is very keen to please.

He’s not showing any interest in toys apart from his squeaky tennis ball.

There have been fireworks and he doesn’t seem bothered by them. He doesn’t seem noise reactive.

We have had a neighbour visit and he was so friendly. Everyone who has met him loves him."

Walking:
Frazzle is an active boy and has lots of energy and gets so excited for his walks.

He has been going on walks twice a day, morning and late afternoon.

He can pull a bit, but usually it’s as he’s on the scent of something and will settle into his walk nicely.

He has shown interest in other dogs since being in foster, but there doesn’t appear to be any aggression. However he has not been dog tested.

Travelling:
Frazzle is a good boy in the car, he does however love to sit next to you.

Vets:
The vet initially came to the kennels to see the Frazzle and he was as good as gold for his health check, blood tests and vaccinations.

Health:
He has had a full health check, including a blood test, and the vet was happy they were all within normal ranges.

He is due to be neutered on 20th January.

Ideal home:
• We feel Frazzle would be best as the only pet in the home. He has shown interest in other dogs, but he hasn’t been dog tested.
• Frazzle is a lovely calm boy in the home, so we feel he could possibly live with children aged 12 years+.
• Frazzle needs an active home where his energy can be burned off and where he will get lots of mental stimulation.
• Frazzle is house trained, he hasn’t been left whilst in foster. He is quite a clingy dog, so would prefer a home where people are around most of the time.

Standard information:
Frazzle is microchipped, vaccinated and will be neutered on 20th January.

He is currently in foster in Worcester, but he can be rehomed anywhere in the UK, pending a successful home visit. However, any adopter should be willing to travel to meet him at least twice where he is now.

There is a non refundable adoption donation of £120 for Frazzle and all money donated goes directly to helping all the Senior Staffies in our care.
