History:
Rodney came into us after a relationship breakdown and wasn’t receiving the care he deserved.

Current:
Rodney is currently in foster in Worcestershire. He has been with his foster mum since 22nd August, he went into foster after being neutered.

He has been a very good boy since being with his foster mum and hasn’t put a foot wrong. He is very polite in the home, and absolutely loves cuddles.

His mum says he’s the cutest sofa snuggler. He loves to be on/near you and will never say no to kisses, cuddles and affection.

He loves a game off fetch and a good game of tug too.

Walking:
Rodney really loves his walks. He walks great on the lead, always respectful that you are on the other end and frequently checking in with you.

He hasn’t shown any reaction to dogs out walking and has always been friendly when out and about.

He hasn’t been phased by passing traffic down the lanes.

Travelling:
Rodney loves joining you for a ride in the car. He sits perfectly on the back seat so he can watch the world go by.

Vets:
We use a mobile vet for our kennel dogs, so he comes to kennels to see the dogs.

Rodney got a little stressed with his blood tests, but was a good boy and behaved perfectly for the 2nd visit for vaccinations.

Health:
He has had a full health check including blood tests. All his bloods came back within normal ranges.

He was neutered on 21st August and this has all healed up nicely.

Ideal home:
• We were told Rodney was dog friendly. He hasn’t reacted to any dogs whilst he’s been with us and he has happily walked in other kennel dogs' company. He may possibly be able to live with another calm dog with careful introductions.
• He could live with children aged 8 years + as he has previously lived with a child.
• Rodney can be left for a couple of hours.
• He is house trained, doesn’t chew and doesn't bark lots.

Standard information:
Rodney is microchipped, vaccinated and neutered.

He is currently in foster in Worcestershire, but he can be rehomed anywhere in the UK, pending a successful home visit. However, any adopter should be willing to travel to meet him at least twice where he is now.

There is a non refundable adoption donation of £120 for Rodney and all money donated goes directly to helping all the Senior Staffies in our care.
