History:
Tia came into us at SSC following a relationship breakdown.
Tia is a dinky little girl, who is super friendly and absolutely loves snuggling up on the sofa next to you for a snooze.
Tia has come in from a very loving home and this has resulted in a very balanced dog.
Current:
She is currently in kennels in Worcestershire, where she has settled very well. She is a such a sweet dog and is now ready to find her forever family.
Walking:
Tia is a dream to walk, she doesn’t pull and she adjusts her pace to yours. She is a fit, healthy girl. The kennels are rural, so she loves being out and about exploring the hedgerows, she is happy walking for as long as you want.
She has had great fun in a secure field playing fetch with her tennis ball and her recall was quite good.
She hasn’t been interested in passing vehicles, horses or passing on-lead dogs. She can be a little timid if off lead dogs approach her after being attacked by a large dog in her previous home.
Travelling:
Tia travels very well in the car.
Vets:
The vet comes to the kennels to see the dogs and Tia has always behaved perfectly.
Health:
She has had a full health check, including blood tests. All her bloods came back within normal ranges.
Tia has had a dental, where her teeth were cleaned and no teeth needed removal.
Ideal home:
• Tia could possibly live with another calm dog around the same size as herself. We are told she has lived with an elderly beagle, but is nervous of larger dogs after being attacked in the past.
• She could live with children aged 8 years +.
• Tia is happy to be left for an hour or two, but loves to be with you when you are home.
• She is house trained and doesn’t chew.
Standard information:
Tia is microchipped, vaccinated and neutered.
She is currently in kennels in Worcestershire, but he can be rehomed anywhere in the UK, pending a successful home visit. However, any adopter should be willing to travel to meet her at least twice where she is now.
There is a non refundable adoption donation of £120 for Tia and all money donated goes directly to helping all the Senior Staffies in our care.
