Hello everyone my name is Bella I’m the new girl on the block at SSC. I came from another rescue to SSC thank goodness they could help me. It took me a few days to settle in, but I love it now, though my biggest wish is to get a new home.
Hi Everyone I just wanted to tell you I’ve been in foster for a few weeks now, so my frosty and I would like to share a bit more info with you.
I am a very clean girl in the house, I have a strong bladder . I am happy to be left for several hours, as long as you leave me a snuggley bed to snooze in, even better if you can leave the bed in the sunshine….. I loves the sun! I am a good girl with people in the home, my frosty mum says I’m very polite. I even don’t mind the workmen working in the house. I love snuggles, I’m not sure on small people, as I’ve not really met them.
I love the back garden, but I’m not a bouncy jumpy girl, so any size garden would be nice, specailly if its a sunny one… did I tell you I loves the sun?
I really don’t like dogs, speciallly if the are loud and bouncy. My frosty thinks my reactiveness is fear driven.
I love going on my walks, but find busy parks quite stressful, as there are loose dogs everywhere. My favourite places to walk are away from other dogs. My mum takes me along the canal, I love it there as she can see for miles in front, so she knows I’m safe and I can relax, roll around in the grass and sniff the verges. I am muzzle trained, and I’m happy to wear it in busy places. I have even wore it to walk with my frosty’s friends calm spaniel this week, he was a kind boy, and frosty was please with how well I behaved.
I have to visit the vet people at the end of this month/beginning of next, as I’m told I need my girlie operwation, then I hope my furever family will find me. I’d love to live somewher rural, where I wouldn’t need to meet too many dogs.
Bella will be spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She is in foster in Lancashire, but can be rehomed anywhere in the UK, pending a successful home visit. However, any adopter should be willing to travel to meet her where she is now.
There is an adoption donation of £90 for Bella and all money donated goes directly to helping all the Senior Staffies in our care.
Applications for Bella are suspended for the moment.
