There are a number of ways you can help Senior Staffy Club, the most obvious are by adopting or fostering but we know that not everyone is able to do those things - so what else can you do?
We are always in need of funds for vets bills as all Seniors coming into our care are vaccinated, neutered / spayed (if the vet says it is safe to do so), microchipped and treated for any existing conditions. Any amount you can send at any time will make a difference.
Even £1 helps and having donated you will then become a Friend of Senior Staffy Club and receive a newsletter via email to tell you about how our funds have been spent through the year.
We sometimes need to use kennels if we have no available foster space.
We try to keep this to a minimum but if we can save a life by using a kennel for a short time until a foster home is available then we will do so if we have the funds.
Kennels cost us on average £9 a night per dog - £63 a week - £252 a month.
With our Kennel Crusade we are aiming to recruit 14 Kennel Crusaders who are willing to regularly donate £10 a month by Standing Order - that's just £2.50 a week for each Crusader - just one glass of wine, a pint of beer, a sandwich - as a Kennel Crusader you can save a life with your £2.50 a week instead.
With 14 Kennel Crusaders we will know we have enough money to cover the cost of a kennel for 365 days which means if we need a kennel we do not have to consider the state of funds, the money is there and we can save that dog!
If you would like to buy our kennel dogs some presents and bedding, etc, then head on over to our Wishlists, which we have for our different kennel sites:
