GOOD WITH CHILDREN: 10 Years +
Ronnie came to us as a stray back in March with Reggie. We thought they were a bonded pair, but over time it became very clear that whilst they didn’t mind each others company out walking, they were definitely not a bonded pair.
With this knowledge we gained about the boys, we started walking them individually and they have to thrived on this. Therefore, we made the decision to re-home them separately.
Ronnie is a calm, very friendly boy who walks lovely on the lead. He absolutely loves a good mooch in the long grass and hedgerows.
When he first arrived he would bark at passing dogs out walking, now he doesn’t react.
He travels well in the car, and is amazing at the vets, as he loves to be touched all over. Ronnie does suffer with the odd ear infection. He is currently being treated with Surolan ear drops daily and Otodine every other day.
He is gentle and sits politely for his treats… His absolute favourite treat is a peanut butter kong.

Ronnie did recently go out to an adoptive home, but we fast discovered he gets really distressed when left home alone, so sadly he has been returned.
In the home, Ronnie was very well behaved and is house trained. He absolutely loves snuggling on the sofa with you.
He is such a happy boy, his tail never stops wagging and he loves playing fetch with his ball. He has met visiting children and was very well behaved around them.
Ronnie really doesn’t like being left home alone and will bark the entire time. He gets so distressed he will wee too.
The perfect home for Ronnie would be one where there is always someone home. He would need to be the only pet, but would be happy to live with children aged 10 years plus.
If you think you match Ronnie’s needs please complete the application form and we will be in touch.
Ronnie is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He is in kennels in Worcester, but can be re-homed anywhere in the UK, pending a successful home visit. However, any adopter should be willing to travel to meet him where he is now.
There is an adoption donation of £90 for Ronnie and all money donated goes directly to helping all the Senior Staffies in our care.
