Sharon smashed the Manchester Half Marathon 2025, here's what she had to say,
"That’s another one done, 2:03:21 on the clock and legs that definitely know it!
Proud to have run this one for Senior Staffies, such a brilliant charity that does amazing work for the oldies.
Huge thanks to everyone who donated and cheered me on - every message and bit of support really kept me going.
Medal’s been shown to Rambo (he’s still unimpressed), and I think I’ve earned a brew and a sit down. 🐾💛"
Sharon has raised an amazing £285 for the seniors 🙌. Thanks Sharon!
Diana and Mike also ran the Manchester half marathon for SSC and here's what they had to report,
"WE DID IT!!! In agony and absolutely knackered, but glad we did it!
My hip had been playing up before the marathon and it certainly did today! Mike has had a bad knee, but he ran the whole way - what a trooper !
I did it in 2 hours and 35 mins and Mike did it in 2 hours and 23 mins.
We kept Cassie and all the senior staffies in our mind when running. We did it for them.
We raised £713 so are super chuffed for the charity! 😀"
Thanks so much guys, awesome work!
Bruno successfully completed the Yorkshire 3 Peaks and here is what he said,
“Completing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks was the biggest physical challenge I’ve ever taken on - 24 miles of steep climbs, aching legs, and moments where I had to dig deep. But any pain I felt was nothing compared to the heartache of seeing dogs in desperate need of help.
Thanks to the incredible support from friends, family, and strangers, we raised £1,400 for the Senior Staffy Club in just one month. Every step was for them - the Staffies who deserve comfort, safety and love in their senior years.”
We checked how Bruno was the next day and he said he was aching but had a big smile on his face for doing something to help SSC and the doggos.
Thank you Bruno and thank you to everyone who sponsored you 👍🐾😊
