Dogs Available For Adoption

These Staffies are looking for a new home – simply click on the image you like below and you’ll be taken to a page setting out full details of the dog, along with more images.

Available dogs’ pages also carry an adoption application link at the foot of their page. This will be followed by a telephone call to discuss your application and the dog you have applied for, if you have been shortlisted.

We do not accept applications for any dogs that are not currently ‘live’ on the website.

Adoption process

The availability status of our seniors is shown under the three headings below in line with our adoption process:

AVAILABLE – Just that. Simply complete the application form link on the dog’s profile page.

COMING SOON – Applications are not open for these dogs yet, as they are new to SSC and currently being assessed, but they should be available soon.

ON HOLD – Applications are currently being reviewed, or a health or behavioural issue has arisen and needs resolving.

RESERVED – An applicant to adopt is subject to a successful home check and meetings with the dog in question, to assess the dog/applicant relationship.
