Adoption Dog of the Month
Rusty
Rusty is currently in foster in Worcestershire. Rusty went into foster to help with his recovery from being under nourished and neglected. He has been with his foster mum since 2nd July. This is what his frosty has to say about him:
"Rusty is an absolute bundle of fun! He loves a cuddle and falls to the floor every time for a belly rub.
"He is a handsome boy and he knows it! Rusty will happily sleep anywhere you let him and he does sleep upside down like a diva.
"Rusty loves a ball - doesn't matter the size! He also loves anything meaty and chewy.
"Rusty is fine on his own for a few hours, he does let out a little cry initially but no barking or destruction and often just takes himself to his bed ready to greet you again with his ever waggly bum!
"He is dog reactive, but does seem to be more out of excitment and will happily be redirected verbally. He is a bit of a puller at the start of a walk, but soon settles down.
"Rusty has been great with all people, he really is a joy to be around! He is so clumsy and his tail just never stops wagging!
"He is great in the car and loves to sniff his way round the fields."
By adopting a Senior Staffy you are giving an older dog the second chance they deserve.
Many of our seniors have been rescued from the dog pound and were at high risk of being put to sleep or quite simply their previous owners were not able to look after them for various reasons and realised they needed help.
