History:
Bella came into Senior Staffy Club as she was spending lots of time alone and getting little attention in the home.
Current:
Bella is currently in our Worcester kennels.
She is an older girl who is kind and calm. She waits very patiently each day for her volunteers to walk her. She is amazing to harness up and is always gentle.
She is a super friendly girl, who most definitely loves being around you. She hasn’t shown much interest in teddies, but she loves a little game of ball.
She always takes her treats gently and is a polite little lady.
Walking:
Bella trots just in front of you on the lead, she is a good girl and doesn’t pull.
Although she isn’t keen on other dogs, we are quite rural and Bella has happily walked in the company of another Senior. We haven’t passed many dogs, but the ones that have been in their gardens, Bella has happily passed.
She has seen sheep and showed little interest.
She hasn’t reacted to people, push bikes or traffic passing her whilst out and about down the lanes.
After her walks, she loves nothing more than to climb up on the sofa and snuggle into you for a snooze.
Travelling:
Bella travels well and she calmly settles in the boot of the car.
Vets:
The vets came to kennels and Bella was very well behaved for them to complete her health check, blood tests and vaccinations.
She has also just had a teeth scale and polish and she was a very good girl for this too.
We are told she finds the waiting room at the vets stressful when it is busy.
Health issues:
She has had a full health check including blood test and the vets doesn’t have any concerns.
Ideal home:
• From what we have seen, and what her previous owner tells us, Bella would need to be the only pet in the home.
• Bella was surrendered to us because she was spending too much time alone, so we are looking for a home where someone will be home lots for her.
• Bella is good around children, but she is getting older, so ideally children will be 7 years +.
Standard information:
Bella is microchipped, spayed and vaccinated.
She is currently in our Worcester kennels, but he can be rehomed anywhere in the UK, pending a successful home visit. However, any adopter should be willing to travel to meet her at least twice where she is now.
There is a non refundable adoption donation of £120 for Bella and all money donated goes directly to helping all the Senior Staffies in our care.
