History:
Bullseye came into us after a change in his family’s circumstance and he wasn’t able to go with them.
Current:
Bullseye is currently at our Worcester kennels. When he first arrived he struggled with kennel life a little, he has since slowly settled into his routine and is a happy boy now.
Walking:
Bullseye is a keen walker and he can be a little strong on the lead initially, but soon settles down into his walk. He hasn’t reacted to dogs in their gardens or passing dogs whilst out walking.
Bullseye hasn’t been dog tested whilst in our care, though he has been walked in the company of Blue. He showed interest and was much happier walking in front, but we didn’t witness any reactivity. His previous owners told us he is not good with other dogs though.
We have currently been walking him for up to 30 minutes as we have noticed his little back legs seem to get a little wobbly and tired if he is walked longer.
Travelling:
Bullseye travels OK in the back of the charity van and will be tested in the car very soon.
Vets:
The vet comes to kennels to see our dogs and Bullseye was a very good boy for his examination, health check, blood tests and vaccinations. He just allowed the vet to do his work.
Health issues:
He has had a full health check including blood tests. All his bloods came back within normal ranges.
During his health check, the vet discovered his teeth weren’t great and would need some work.
So at the beginning of this month, Bullseye had 3 large back teeth removed and the rest were cleaned… he has recovered well and is back to his happy self!
Ideal home:
• Bullseye needs to be the only pet in the home.
• He can live with children aged 7 years +. He came from a home with a baby and child.
• Bullseye would be OK to be left for an hour or two, but loves to be with you when you are home.
• He is house trained, doesn’t chew or bark much.
Standard information:
Bullseye is microchipped, vaccinated and neutered.
He is currently in kennels in Worcestershire, but he can be rehomed anywhere in the UK pending a successful home visit. However, any adopter should be willing to travel
to meet him at least twice where he is now.
There is a non-refundable adoption donation of £120 for Bullseye and all money donated goes directly to helping all the Senior Staffies in our care.
