History:
Isaac came into from us from the police after being surrendered from an unsuitable environment.
Current:
Isaac is currently in our Worcester kennels.
He is a happy old boy who loves his daily visits from our volunteer walkers and having a potter across the fields.
He loves giving you kisses.
Walking:
Isaac walks beautifully on a relaxed lead, you don’t know he is there.
Being 13 ½ years old, we are currently walking for approx half an hour followed by lots of snuggle time on the sofa in the play room.
He has been walking past calm dogs without showing any interest in them at all. He has also happily walked in other kennel dogs' company, with a safe distance between them.
We have not cat tested Isaac.
Travelling:
Isaac travels perfectly in the back of the car, you wouldn't even know he was there!
Vets:
The vets have visited Isaac at kennels. He was no trouble at all and stood still for his examination and vaccinations.
Isaac has had his 1st vaccination and kennel cough, his 2nd one is due in two weeks’ time.
Health issues:
Isaac has had full health check including blood test and all has come back as normal.
He does have a few lumps and bumps, the main ones being a wart type lump on his face and elbow and a fatty lump oh his chest. The vets have examined them and advised they are best left alone as they aren’t bothering him.
He isn’t on any medication.
Ideal home:
• We think Isaac would be happy to be the only dog in the home. However, he may be able to live with another very calm dog after careful introductions.
• He is an older boy at 13 ½ years old, so children would need to be 12 years plus.
• We don’t have any history on Isaac, so are unsure if he would be happy being left for short periods, but being an old boy would be best suited to someone who is around quite a bit.
Standard information:
Isaac is microchipped and has had his first vaccinations, his 2nd jab is due in 2 weeks’ time. He is neutered.
He is currently in kennels in Worcester, but he can be rehomed anywhere in the UK, pending a successful home visit. However, any adopter should be willing to travel to meet him at least twice where he is now.
There is an adoption donation of £120 for Isaac and all money donated goes directly to helping all the Senior Staffies in our care.
