History:
Peaches came into us after a change in her family’s circumstances.

She arrived with her brother Proof, but it has quickly become clear they are not a bonded pair and only tolerate each other.

Current:
Peaches is currently in our Worcester kennels.

When she arrived, she was quite withdrawn and very shy. She stood still if you wanted to stroke her, but she didn’t come to you for a fuss.

She is still a bit of a shy girl, but once she knows you, she loves a fuss and being told she is a good girl. Although she still isn't a fan of her toes being touched!

Walking:
Peaches is always very keen to go out walking. She is a good girl on the lead and doesn’t pull. She really loves having a good sniff in the hedgerows.

On the fields she loves to have a little sit and cuddle with you and her absolute favourite is to have a good crocodile roll.

She has shown some reaction to dogs whilst out walking, but not all the time. She has barked at some, but is happy to walk on when asked.

We have allowed her space and not tested her with off lead dogs.

Travelling:
Peaches has not travelled with us yet, but this will be tested in the very near future.

Vets:
The vets have visited Peaches at kennels. She was very frightened, but was a good girl and she allowed the vet to examine and vaccinate her.

Health issues:
We noticed Peaches arrived with a small soft lump on her side and back leg. The vet has confirmed these are just little fatty lumps.

She has had a full health check, including blood tests, and all has come back as normal.

Ideal home:
• We feel Peaches would be happy to be the only dog in the home, she has lived with Proof but they do not appear to enjoy each other’s company. Out walking they do not look for each other.
• She came from a home with a couple of children aged 8 and 12 years old, but due to her being a shy older girl, we feel she would be happier with children aged 12 years plus.
• We are unsure whether Peaches has ever been left on her own, so this would need to be something that was built up over time. However she loves her bed in her kennel and is more than happy to snooze in it after her walk.

Standard information:
Peaches is spayed and microchipped. She has had her first vaccinations, her 2nd jab is on 19th September, so this will be done before she leaves for her new home.

She is currently in kennels in Worcester but she can be rehomed anywhere in the UK, pending a successful home visit. However, any adopter should be willing to travel to meet her at least twice where she is at the moment.

There is an adoption donation of £120 for Peaches and all money donated goes directly to helping all the Senior Staffies in our care.

Could you give this beautiful soul a home? She will reward you tenfold with love and friendship once she trusts you.
